AFP discovers in 2024 its first woman war correspondent who was forgotten by history. In August 1944, Marcelle Poirier, a French journalist who joined the French forces in London, is chosen to take over the mission of three reporters who were reported missing in Normandy. In 1944, news women were not aloud to go to the frontline, so Marcelle Poirier has to be smuggled to France.
